pictures from my phone

This is completely random, but I just downloaded all the pictures from my phone and thought I would post some. I can't believe my baby girl is going to be 1 in 2 weeks. It has been a busy year, and it went by way too fast. The one above is my fav from March 26.

July 15, Willowbend play area. She was too small, but really wanted to do all the BIG stuff.

June 18, the day we started strapping her in the highchair.

June 28, ballet class

May 16, Jasmine's Princess Party. {cranky}

May 8, She has a thing for boots.

May 8, Carly learned to crawl...and help with dishes.

April 18, PHPC Youth Cake Auction
Sporting the bumble bee tatoo from Ella's birthday party.

March 28, Avery's first "letter A" was on Isabella's birthday card. We still sent it, but I took a pic to remember.

March 14

March 24, park by our house

March 8, Angel Fire, NM

lake house fun

Good times at the Kinard Lakehouse. 8 adults, 5 kids (3 and under), 2 dogs, 1 boat, and really good food. There was probably an hour in there somewhere when all the babies were asleep...maybe.

We went out on the boat.

We played inside. (There were kids everywhere!)

We went swimming in the lake. Reid did a little sun bathing, too.

We played outside with the dogs.

Thank you Kinards, Greenmans, and Remingtons for a great weekend!

the hungry caterpillars

Avery got a live butterfly kit for her birthday from her friend Harper. We mailed off for the larve and they came a few days later.

Avery checked on them everyday.

They got to be pretty gross. Once they made a coccoon, we transfered them to the "habitat".

They hatched and became "beautiful butterflies!"

Avery named them Cookie, Cheeries,

and Cliff.

After they all hatched, we let them go in the back yard.

I thought Avery would be sad, but she wasn't she just said bye to each one as it flew away. She asks every once in a while, "Remember when we had a lot of caterpillars. Then the were a Beautiful Butterfly and fly away!"

That was fun. We may do it again next spring. I know we will not be doing THIS at all.

rainy summer

The sun did not shine.
It was too wet to play.
So we sat in the house
All that cold, cold, wet day.
I sat there with Sally.
We sat there we too.
And I said, "How I wish
We had something to do!"
Too wet to go out
And too cold to play ball.
So we sat in the house.
We did nothing at all.
So all we could do was to
And we did not like it.
Not one little bit.
